You Receive:
Training

You receive access for one (1) year to the Institute’s Learning Management System (LMS). This includes access to the following
on-demand courses:-

Access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - making this training option ideal for training existing staff and also on-boarding new staff.

Each staff member will receive their own unique login. Their progress in the courses will be tracked. After they have successfully completed the course they will receive a certificate.
Professional Learning Community

You receive access to our Safety Spotlight Professional Learning Community. This 9-month program provides monthly instruction,
real-time access to experts and the opportunity to engage with early childhood professionals from across the country. -
Sites will receive one action-oriented task per month to complete. Tasks are purposefully designed to enhance preparedness and safety. Sites that complete all 9 tasks receive a plaque recognizing their accomplishment and commitment to safety.

Tabletop Exercise
-
The Institute will conduct an in-person tabletop exercise to walk through the decisions that would need to be made a during an emergency incident.

Continued access to the on-demand courses for up to one hundred (100) staff.

Active Shooter Training (live in conjunction with tabletop exercise)
-
During our visit to conduct the tabletop exercise, we will also conduct a live active shooter training with staff. This will include the hands-on drill. This will provide an opportunity to ensure existing staff and new staff are all on the same page.

Emergency Plan Review and Audit

We will review the existing emergency plan(s) and provide recommendations on how to enhance the plan(s) to incorporate leading practices.
